It’s not often I get called on to create an image at a moments notice but it happens and in this case, I’m very pleased with the results.
The director of the Los Cabos Gran Fondo 2015 called and asked if I could create an image to be used on the Editor’s Page of Bicycling Magazine. I jumped at the opportunity to combine my love for cycling and my design business, the two don’t often overlap as much as I’d like.
What resulted is a drawing concept where the famous land’s end arch at the very tip of Los Cabos has been re-drawn in the shape of a cyclists head and helmet. It will eventually be the marketing graphic and art posters for sale to the event. There is some work to be done, but hey, one good idea in a day is a very good day. I’ll take that.
